allright so far so good . as you can see i have posted THOUSANDS of Kurds including group / crowd pics and also many videos with many many Kurds in them too . on top of it i have even posted DNA tested / DNA CONFIRMED Kurdish faces
this is just how Kurds look like
many of you will be surprised by how we look like because many of you most likely have a wrong image / wrong idea of Kurds in your mind . many people do . people in general when they envision Kurds in their head they think Kurds look like a levantine or iraqi arab + gypsy + punjabi + a little armenian mix or something like that . i am 100% sure of it . i have been around in anthroforums since 11 years or so now and i am 100% sure that many people imagine Kurds like such a mix . and it is obviously not true and Kurds dont look like that as you can see
the reasons why we are so wrongly misportrayed and why so many people have a wrong idea of how we look are :
1. we have many gypsies in Kurdish regions . and our gypsies are one of the least known gypsy group in the world . their numbers are not official and are mostly hidden and highly underestimated . we have millions of them in Kurdish regions of Türkiye alone (and there are also many in other Kurdish regions) . many of them can speak Kurdish and larp as Kurds . some Kurds have assimilated them also and there are gypsy + Kurdish mixes . i have even met a guy of such a mix on reddit before . he was 1/4 gypsy and 3/4 Kurdish and in his thread he mostly
just claimed to be Kurdish and didnt mention his gypsy side much of the time . and i also have gedmatch kit numbers that seem to be kurdish + gypsy mixes
we have many arabs in Kurdish regions too and also Kurdish + Arab mixed people .
and in iraqi Kurdistan they seem to have assimilated gypsies , turkmens , arabs and probably also other people .
i will post more information about our gypsies in the next post and will also show you how our gypsies look like
2. people who hate us (certain turks , assyrians etc.) are claiming wrong things about us all over the Internet and are also darkwashing us as much as possible . you will find weird what i am saying now but many turks dont actually know properly how kurds look like
no joke . many turks who live in especially western türkiye like istanbul , izmir etc. have not much clue . they will for example go outside and see gypsies or arabs or refugees etc. around in shops , in malls , on the street etc. and then they will think those people must be Kurds .
turks , assyrians and other haters claim ridiculous stuff like "kurds came from india" etc. . which is crazy ....and not true
many turks and also other people imagine kurds to look like south asians because they wrongly associate being iranic with south asia even though being iranic has nothing to do with south asia . and there is no such thing as an "iranic race" to begin with . we are very different from eastern iranic people like balochs and pashtuns . both lookwise and genetically too . even many persians are different from us because a good amount of persians score elevated south asian in genetic calculators like harappaworld (s.indian component) but we Kurds we do not ...our average s.indian score is 2.2% only so almost nothing . i have calculated it with 66 Kurdish kit numbers . balochs and pashtuns score 12 - 22% range depending on person . and many persians score 6-7% ...a good amount even 8-10% and some even 11 - 14 % ...and i am not only talking about southern and eastern persians ! . a forum friend and me analyses the s.indian component from the harappaworld calculator and we came to the conclusion that when you score below 5% it will almost never have any influence on phenotype ....especially below 3% . because it is a very small amount and almost nothing . however more than 5% will not rarely have influence on phenotype especially more than about 8% will often influence phenotype . you can call such calculators "outdated" if you want it doesnt matter ...they are still good to show certain things and the harappaworld calculator along with some other calculators is one of the best calculators to show your (real) south asian score
so yeah there is no "iranic race" and being iranic has nothing to do with looking south asian to begin with . iranic has nothing to do with south asia .
and think about it ...ossetians are iranic , tajiks are iranic , balochs are iranic ...yet they dont look alike and are genetically not the same either. the only iranics that are actually pretty similar to us Kurds are people like Talysh , Gilakis , Tats , and to a certain extent Ossetians , Lurs and northern Persians without elevated south asian admix (but they often still look different from us because they have a characteristic persian look on them)
many turks also think that language = race . there are turks who think that they are more like mongolians than like kurds for example . no joke . and as i said they associate being an iranic speaker wrongly with south asia . then they see gypsies when they go outside and think "these are kurds" etc. . it is ridiculous really . of course there are many turks who are not like that but there are unfortunately enough who indeed are like this lol . and no i dont have anything against turks btw. (unless they hate kurds) . i view turks as my compatriots and my sister is married to a turk and i love him . but there are many turks who spread nonsense about kurds online
3. this point is related to nr.1 . : there are a lot of odd pics and videos from kurdish regions online with non kurds or mixed people on it . gypsies , arabs , turkmens etc. . i will show you some people from iraqi "kurd"istan ok ? if you think these people are Kurds then i dont know what else i can say to you
they are NOT Kurds and they do NOT look like Kurds . and no they are NOT "just darker Kurds" or "atypical Kurds". that is all BS . they are not Kurdish but assimilated people OR are mixed heavily with non Kurdish ethnicities . but i will give you more insight on this in my next post
such pics float around on the Internet and people take people like these as Kurds then naturally . because people dont know better and cant know better . to be honest if i was not a Kurd i would most likely have a wrong idea of how Kurds look like too

there are many gypsies in Kurdish regions . they are called dom (domari) , qereci , and mıtırıp
our gypsies are one of the least known gypsies in the world and their numbers are highly underestimated
