But again, that was a working vacation... and just because the President was doing fundraising doesn't mean that he had turned a deaf ear to suffering. When you say not "ideal" or "smooth", boy that's an understatement- it was entirely absent. Even the president admitted to his credit that it was inadequate and that we had to do better.
