Are they more Western or Southern European looking?

I was not sure even if I had supposed what you say here. I partly answered your post all the way. NO pale skin is not by force associated with reddish hue in it. Coon mad some remarks about it when comparing irish people and British people (in fact, even more vascularity among British people than among Irish people, for him. I agree for the most. But we have to distinguish allover pinkiness on the skin from the purely red marks on cheeks (local hypervascularity often associated to emotional reactions, and which can be found also in brunet white skinned people).

Those british that you found more reddish than irish probably have scotch ancestry, having scotland the high percentaje of reheads. The rossy skin areas are mostly located in articulations like knuckles, anckles, elbows, and in the cheeks and ears. Of course not every white skin descend from redhead. But the fairiest (a mix between white red and blue) skin is belonged to redheads.

Next video shows the typical celtiberian chestnut hair. If you believe it or not, they are mostly redhead.

I get an example...

This is Eduardo Cansino Reina, Spaniard from Seville, and he is Margarita Cansino AKA Rita Hayworth's father.

He is dark haired but had carried the redhead component.

Her mother was Volga Margaret Hayworth, irish. Both father and mother had carried red genes.

Here is the proof

She certainly is, but I'm not sure if she can "beat" her mother in this department.

Gosh, tastes really do differ. I think Ivanka is lovely, and better looking than her mother, although she's probably had a nose job, and maybe if Ivana didn't do the weird no eyebrow and dark under eye liner thing she would have looked better. I have to say I was also never a fan of her dress sense, either. She always looked slightly like a hooker, I hate to say. Also, poor thing, talk about aging badly. :( Donald was handsome except for his mouth and the overgrown eyebrows. I mean, was he going for this look, from Dune? :)

I think the brothers are actually quite good looking, although the blonde one has a bit of a Malvoy thing going on, which is a real turn off. :)

Anyway, lots of genes for good looks in that family, unlike the Clinton's looks. Dear Lord, poor Chelsea. It's like when Jimmy Carter was in the White House. That poor girl...all those photos.

I think it's pretty universally acknowledged that the prettiest first lady we've ever had, though, was undoubtedly Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. Her son was gorgeous too although poor Caroline wound up looking like her Kennedy aunts.

I don't think I ever saw a picture of her where she was badly made up or dressed or where she looked anything other than a graceful and elegant lady.

I could fan girl on her. :) She was considered the most beautiful debutante and bride of those respective years, and I absolutely believe it.

He led her a merry dance, that swine.

Her handsome son:

To bring this a little back on topic, Donald has a northwestern kind of look to me, Ivana more eastern European, and Jackie definitely has a bit of a Mediterranean thing going on despite the fact that she was mostly Irish and English and just a bit of French.

Melania is way more attractive than ivanka imo.

Ed. As for Melania, I think she used to be very beautiful. I'm not a fan of her post plastic surgery look.

I don't know why she thought there was something wrong with her nose. All that surgery has also given her a strange Chinese like look. She always had a beautiful body, though.

@Ziober,
If you're going to go with your own subjective "feelings" versus all the scientific data on the subject there's really no point in continuing the discussion.

As you wish my Lady... so, I am scientific.

With this "If you're going to go with your own subjective "feelings" versus all the scientific data on the subject"

I think you are projecting on mine what is your own behavior.

Kissing your hand on my knee, yours; Ziober.

Apart of this one, I have to say that the fashion of 80, when most of her pictures were taken as a young woman, wasn't too flattering for women.

I don't think the 80s were one of the best fashion eras, and I'm really glad the whole shoulder pad thing went bye-bye, but you could still dress elegantly and in good taste.

She was a style icon for me in the late 80s and 90s. I actually bought a copy of this dress. :) She sometimes put a foot wrong, but not often.

I had a version of this too, and the suit in black and navy for work:

You didn't have to look like this...maybe it was his fault; looking at his houses he's more for flashy and gaudy than for restrained good taste.

Even when the dress was restrained and appropriate she'd ruin it with that garish make-up and god-awful rat's nest of hair and huge, gaudy, ugly jewelry. Yuck. Sorry, I never was a fan. Both his current wife and his daughter have much better taste, imo, so maybe they just don't let him choose. :)

Even into the 90's, Jackie was still an unerring source of inspiration, imo.

Fashion for me is a black t-shirt and cargo shorts! I love my black t-shirts, every spring/summer/early to mid fall day I wear one! If I were to live somewhere where the temp is always warm, I'd wear a black t-shirt daily until I pass away.

Ok Melania loses points with me bc she relied on plastic surgery

Yep, what a dissapointment! I was mistaken chosing that example LOL. But it is common to spring redheads babys from dark haired parents...

In the link you had put talks about "so latin she is". Well, Neither spaniards nor spanish-speakers americans are latins. Latins were the italians. What we have of latin is the language, such french, romanian, portuguese, italian... half of the english...
