Nice find. Any indications where this sample is from in Akbari? Could it be from Albania?
E-Y173822 is more a southern & central Albanian lineage, so this is a particularly interesting sample.

The sample is older than Shtike or Kenete. It might be from Albania or just as likely from Bulgaria. The IBD sharing, the oldest sample it shares IBD with is late Roman Bulgaria (I41659) - 10.48 in segment(s). The other samples I41659, I41596 seem more like unpublished Ottoman era Albania samples. 41659 for example shares 39.94 IBD fragments with Shtike.

In these IBD runs nothing suggests this sample or Shtike have anything to do with Illyrians. It confirms there is no basis at all.
