Archimedes the Genius - Inside the Archimedes palimpsest (Archimedes Book of Infinite Secrets)

Basically Archimedes discovered calculus)

If the book had been revealed Isaac Newton would be discovering something instead of calculus.

I think this statement I made need to be adjusted as anyone who done any sort of computer programming knows that a minor change in the code can have some impact lower down. One tiny error or "bug" as they were called created sometimes dozens of errors further down the line especially with card system which I was introduced to when learning Fortran with IBM's iron monsters. Archimedes being such a huge influence would have impacted history in a very big way such that even Isaac Newton might not be born if Archimedes' book was used by the Renaissance people. Maybe only the Mediterranean countries would develop to sch an extent that the northern Europe wouldn't be able to catch up. Newton, Leibnitz and the Bernoulli clan really helped western Europe edge out southern Europe in the development of science through mathematics.
