btw, why should I contain my views to the philosophy forum? I have other opinions than just that and have been conciously striving to increase the discussion topics here from other than just religion (which, though, I do thoroughly enjoy).

I see nothing wrong with thinking that my parents are among the greatest Americans. And if I am still a member of this forum years from now, I will still think that. 'Till the day she died, my mother was one of the kindest, sweetest spirits I ever met or heard of. And my father is one of the hardest working, caring, and responsible men I have ever known. I will be doing well if I am just half the man he is.
