I wonder what Azzurro would have thought of the fact that the Phoenicians were basically Sicilians and Greeks for the most part.

I'd say for the Carthaginians who claim a Phoenician origin story the idea that they are vastly majority descended from a combination of Sicilican natives and Greeks is accurate. As for the actual Phoenicians of the Levant I think reality will be much different and you'll see much more continuity.
