War "Slap the Dirty Little Jap"

While doing a research paper on the Jim crow laws in the US i came upon something very interesting. Because of segregration laws, black nurses could not tend to US white soldiers, even though they were in dire need sometimes, and were instead used sometimes for GERMAN POW's. not that's very related but I thought that was insane

It's not insane, it's just ironical that the country that "liberated Europe from racist white supremacists" was in fact a racist white supremacist country itslef at the time. Hitler said that jews were inferior and called them "niggers" (I guess because of their non-Aryan origins), but his discourse would surely have caught the attention of lots of white people in the US at the time, just replacing Jews by "Blacks". In fact, nowadays Nazism or associated movements (e.g. KKK) is still stronger in the US that in about any other country.

Ah, but the aliens in "Independence Day" were all over the world. They didn't just attack the US.
Maybe because the director was German?

It was said somewhere that the Russian royalist refugees in Germany had spread slanders that "the Jews in Russia were all communists", and that there was a general fear of Jewish nationalism from the German point of view. How much truth is there in this statement: was there a widespread prejudice that "All Jews are communists" ? Was that the major cause of the persecution of the Jews ?
More like "all bolshevists (communists) are Jews."
The Jewish question in Germany was more "racially" based. It was of course more complicated than that, but here it would lead too far to elaborate on this.

Speaking of RACISM/bigotry as war propaganda.
Anyone ever hear of an active proponent of such
Michael Savage? The following link has some of
the most vile things I've heard.

http://mediamatters.org/items/200405140003

I thought I had heard that Savage had
said something like we should encourage
racism among the troops to get them in a
"better fighting mood" or some such thing.
But I could not find that quote. If anybody
does find it. Please post a link. I personally
think that is utterly absurd. Sorry TwistedMac.
If people are not fighting for the right reasons,
whatever THAT might be? They should not
need hatred to do it. And yes, people should
know what they are fighting for, not just because
commanding officer says 'jump'. I think it's
the uniform code of justice or something,
that states no soldier is required to obey
any unlawful order. In fact they are duty
bound to disobey unlawful orders. That may
be difficult to do. Maybe even require
more courage than to run into gun fire
with one's comrades? I don't think
this last bit fits in with the topic...,
it just kinda flowed out. ???݂܂???B
