Its also important to not equate the official National language with the varies mother-tongues (from different Romanic branches) of the various regions; Most regional mother-tongues are of a complete diff. Romanic branch than the National language and also the outside impact and loanwords varies from region to region;
French (d'Oil) is not representative for Occitan;
Spanish (Castillan) is not representative for Catalan;
