Great compilation, and I know it required some simplifications. However, a few words about the Cossack uprisings. During the Jagiellonian period, the Ruthenians had guaranteed religious freedom. It was only with Sigismund III Vasa introducing the Brest Union and the actions of the Jesuits that Orthodoxy began to be treated as a second-class religion. Many mistakes led to these uprisings. Polonization did not occur in the beautiful way you describe. Generally, the Union of Lublin and the Brest Union are presented in a very Polish-centric way, but in the east, both Lithuanians and Ukrainians see it differently. It would be nice to give them a voice. And most importantly, the Commonwealth was a multi-ethnic state, which is often forgotten. Best regards from a citizen of the Commonwealth.
