But Otzie at a younger age is more complicated for me because some factor that is more exotic to me is potentiated that after age has decreased.

Also, did you look at the cluster components for both Otzi and Sicilian Beaker in Punt? It would be interesting to see if Otzi actually had more or less Caucasus like material.

Btw, Otzi actually wasn't very healthy. In a blow for the whole idea of the Paleo diet, his heavily meat based consumption didn't prevent him from having terrible arteriosclerosis, poor thing, along with Lyme disease and parasites.

"He carried one genetic mutation that in modern humans raises the risk of coronary heart disease by 40 per cent, and two others that made him prone to a build-up of fat in the linings of his arteries."

The tattoos on his joints were probably a type of sympathetic magic against the terrible arthritis and accompanying pain that Lyme disease can cause. So much for the healthiness of spending your life in the woods of the lower Alps.

Btw, the dna shows that while he had dark hair and eyes, he was extremely fair skinned, like me and Tarantino.

He went bald very young, so imagine the hairline all the way down.

I removed him from the source code for K13 ancient, and put him as the target. Amazing results, imo.

It does make sense, imo. He's a MN/Copper Age sample, and so are they...including Baden, which turns out to have no steppe. I always said I thought he, or his people, came from the "Old Europe" metal making cultures.

Btw, the dna shows that while he had dark hair and eyes, he was extremely fair skinned, like me and Tarantino.

He went bald very young, so imagine the hairline all the way down.

There is one other Sicilian Bell Beaker (I4933) that is in the supplement of Olade et al 2018 on the Beaker Civilization. Is that one just such a low quality that there is nothing that can be analyzed? Thanks for the kit number on the other Sicilian_Beaker.
