Ezdi Kurds live since the beginning of the human history in Shengal & Shexan which is part of the Greater Kurdistan. Their earliest known ancestors were the Sumerian who were responsible for many great civilisations and the Sumerians were ancestors of Iranid people like the Mitanni, Kassites and therefore the Medes.
