1. Americas:
The Americas have four independent countries which are majority European-inhabited. These are Canada, Cuba, Uruguay and the USA (in case of Latin America population which is at least 80% European genetically is counted as European). In addition to these independent countries, Europeans are also majority in the dependencies of Saint Pierre et Miquelon, Saint Barthelemy and the Falkland Islands. In addition two other countries have very high percentages of European population, but below 50% - these are Brazil and Argentina. The results range from 0% of Europeans in Haiti to 100% of Europeans in Saint Pierre et Miquelon. The Americas as a whole are almost 39% European / white, not counting mixed race people. Below is the table with detailed results for each country and dependency:
2. Oceania:
Oceania has two independent countries which are majority European-inhabited. These are Australia and New Zealand. In addition to these two, Europeans also form large minorities in the dependencies of New Caledonia and French Polynesia and in the U.S. state of Hawaii. The results range from 0% of Europeans in Tokelau, Niue and Tuvalu to 72% of Europeans in Australia. Oceania as a whole is around 46.5% European / white, not counting mixed race people. Below is the table with detailed results for each country and dependency:
3. Africa:
In Africa there are two independent countries and one dependency with European population exceeding 5% of the total. These are Reunion, South Africa and Namibia. Other areas with relatively significant European minorities include Mauritius and the Seychelles, Eswatini, Botswana and Djibouti (here largely due to military presence by American, French and German troops). The continent as a whole is only around 0.5% European, not counting mixed race people. Below is the table with detailed results for each country and dependency:
4. Asia:
In Asia countries with the most sizeable European presence in terms of percentage of the total population are Israel (where European Jews of all kinds including Ashkenazi, Sephardic, Romaniote, Italkim, etc. form a slight majority of the population) and Kazakhstan. Also a few other ex-Soviet republics have relatively high percentages of Europeans (mainly Russians in this case). The continent as a whole is only around 0.38% European, not counting mixed race people. Below is the table with detailed results for each country and dependency:
5. Oceanic islands:
This section includes several small oceanic islands which are difficult to assign to a particular continent or world region:
6. Europe & Russia:
This section includes also Asian part of Russia. All countries in Europe have majority European populations, with the exception of Northern Cyprus and the Turkish region of East Thrace, which have been colonized by ethnic Turks (whom I don't consider as Europeans because they are generally native to Asia Minor not to Europe, and therefore are West Asians, just like Georgians or Armenians). The continent as a whole is over 87% native European, not counting mixed race people. Below is the table with detailed results for each country and dependency:
Summary:
To sum up, there are around 1 billion and 123 million Europeans worldwide, and they form about 14% of the global population:
Map below shows countries & dependencies with >90%, >70%, >50%, >30%, >20%, >10% and >5% European populations:
