Do academic models rule out other influences?

For example, If the Slavs are modeled through CWC in studies, does this mean that they do not have a component of the Srubnaya, or Sintashta culture (Steppe_MLBA), or have very little (1-3%) because academic tools do not confuse the components?

As I understand it, no, but such influences are usually too minimal to show up in these high-level models for Europeans
