Well! You are exaggerating, but it is fundamentally true.

However, it is confined to ONE neighbourhood, in my city, as as matter of fact. It is not true that "we" cannot enter that neighbourhood safely.

It is unfortunate that I agree with most of what you say but our 'intensive history' has nothing to do with it. It is the situation today because of our policies as it applies to the majority of immigrnts to Sweden TODAY not "yesterday", if you understand what I mean. Sweden has a more basic belief in the expression, "All men are created equal". That belief is now being tested to its limits.

If not the US of America you would be speaking German or Russian now. Thanks to USA you can enjoy your freedom of speech that you love so much. Otherwise you would be dieing in concentration camp or Lager in Siberia for criticizing your government.
Just because Sweden is a peace loving country and loves everyone equally doesn't mean the world returns the favour and cares about it.
You're very lucky that USA is still the strongest country in the world and plays the role of policeman. It's still needed and appreciated by many in this cruel and unstable world.
And yes USA is not a perfect country, granted, but can you name one that is?
What's the alternative? Should we let China or Russia to take this role? Maybe bankrupt UN can help? Maybe EU will start spending their billions and finally play the equal partner role? Or even better, we'll ask Sweden, because they have a secret weapon....they will love enemies to death.
Off course it's your right to criticize anything and anyone, but have some decency, common sense, balance and good logic in it.

Why would he, Sweden was neutral during WWII (although "secretly" supporting Germany), and the Nazi never tried or intended to invade it.

True, though only for a short time period. Sweden was none threatening, not strategically placed for east expansion, with very small population. Invading Sweden would just tied up German forces there, waisted time and resources. If Hitler would have finished with Russia, the next step would be to tied up his empire, total grip and control over Europe. To finish off with Sweden and Switzerland would be as easy as Anschluss of Austria. Economies of Sweden would be put in use for war effort of farther expansion of Third Reich. Not much, by why let it go to waste? And if these are not good enough reason to acquire Sweden by Hitler, then reaching and finishing all remaining Jews in Europe is.
Same goes to Soviet Union, bringing "freedom and liberation of working class from rotten capitalism" was essential tool in building Soviet empire. Workers of neutral Sweden would have been liberated too. They wouldn't be forgotten, it would have been unfair and not right, to let them rot in vises of Swedish bourgeois and capitalists, lol.
