you should read "Diaries" by Tadeusz Borowski or "Diaries from Warsaw Uprising" by Miron Bialoszewski - there's everything about ww2 - how Poles live there, how strange was world then and how this everything changed people it's a lot a lot better than Pianist, these books are not hiding...

oh there was sth like that..... yes you must be right i don't like this period in polish history, so i think thats why i didn't remember this thing about flag...

at school (when i was 6 then) told us that this read color is polish blood on white flag, but seriously i don't remember why have such flag.....shame.... :bluush:

agnostic, but sometimes i could be atheist - but its not problem, agnosticism does not exclude possibility of not existing any god i think i couldn't be deist - what for the god exist if he/she/it doesn't play any important role in our lives?

my favourite famous german was otton III, i liked his idea of united europe, beside that during his rule germany and poland were in good relations also like carl von clausevitz, but he was prussian - so i don't know if we can say he was german
