I am not quite sure, but I think that the Goths that had settled in Macedonia left for Italy during the reign of the king Theodoric. The Moesian/Thracian Goths were probably assimilated into the Bulgarian ethnicity, while the Gothogreaci were assimilated into the Byzantine Romans.
