Non-French admixed Corsicans are basically a mixture of Ligurian and Tuscan, so unless any of those two score higher West Med than the Sardinian I would say it is unlikely.
I see, however I fail to reconcile that with the fact that unemployment rate in Italy is only 5%. Does it highlight that a lot of working-age people are not looking for a job to begin with?
I think this mixes up two different things: genetic admixture and phenotype.
