G25 G25: What are the components used to determine coordinates?

We don't accuse soda companies of fraud for keeping their propietary formulas secret.

The disappearance of the Spanish 'f' sound

For anyone else wondering how to imitate that:

Comparing Ancient Greek populations to modern Greeks and Italians

Is it okay if the regions are unlabeled? The SVG map I sourced it from is a WIP, only countries are labeled but not regions. But I'm definitely open to doing this.

    Autosomal DNA of Pontic Greeks

There's a calculator for converting K36 to G25 based on linear regression. It's good, but not great, and I imagine it'd be similar for K13 to K36.

Principal Component Analyses (PCA)-based findings are highly biased.

"CAN BE highly biased" might be more accurate. Check this out, PC1 and PC2 map pretty close to latitude and longitude:

Not too much time though lol, AncestryDNA sale ends in 4 days.

PCA (PRO) values on Admixture Studio V2.48

It works with any coordinates as long as they're the same length.

    Autosomal DNA of Pontic Greeks

I don't believe coordinates are intended to be used in this way though. The labels are fairly arbitrary and not even e.g. Amerindians score anywhere near 100% Amerindian. They only mean something when compared with others' coordinates.

PCA (PRO) values on Admixture Studio V2.48

I am also looking for K36 sources to use with Vahaduo.

    GEDMatch Gedmatch kit number

Other companies will work too, like 23andMe. If you're more interested in GEDmatch admixture tools, and/or G25, and not so much in what AncestryDNA tells you, just go with the cheapest DNA testing company. Right now that does appear to be AncestryDNA, but only because of a sale going on.

Comparing Ancient Greek populations to modern Greeks and Italians

If you are open to reconsidering how "useless" it is I'm more than willing to share a download link with you  You're the second to ask for more coverage though. I wanted to add at least North Africa but the SVG map I'm using has Morocco broken up into regions in a way I don't...

Comparing Ancient Greek populations to modern Greeks and Italians

It's sourced from "3055 Ancient and Modern G25 Scaled calculator by Michalis Moriopoulos", I don't know why you are saying it's simulated?

Comparing Ancient Greek populations to modern Greeks and Italians

My modern ancestry composition at IllustrativeDNA (using G25 coordinates) was overall more accurate than what 23andMe told me. I don't understand the hate for G25.

Comparing Ancient Greek populations to modern Greeks and Italians

I don't understand. If you look at the map it's actually more granular than that (has coordinates for multiple regions which make up Po Valley).
